I'm looking for a job in the UAE and would like to teach at a middle school or high school.

Does anyone know of any websites which post adverts for these types of jobs?

At the TESOL-Arabia convention in the spring there is a job fair. This is a good venue for contacting potential employers. Alas, now you will have to wait until 2004. I would suggest that you try one of the international schools in the Emirates but for that you need qualified teacher status.

Have you seen tes.jobs.com?
It's a British site (Times Ed supplement) Presently there are about 2 or 3 schools looking for teachers. I recommend "Ma'arafah" as a lot of my university students come out of there! You'll see others, and for Oman.

I have been working in the UAE for 2 years. I found my job through www.joyjobs.com.
Australian newspapers also advertise jobs in the UAE on weekends.

Hi
The Embassy in the country where you are located should be able to give you a list of schools in the UAE - or the US/UK embassies here in the UAE will have such a list.
Other wise, try a google search on 'english speaking schools, uae', secondary schools, use' , etc.
Just apply direct and see what happens,
