I applied for work with the above organisation - before sending my CV etc, I asked for information on salary, conditions, locations etc.
I got a reply from someone called Rula Khalaf saying that she would only give the information out once she received my CV.
Needless to say, that was the end of the matter for me - but does anyone know anything about this organisation - I've never heard of them before.
Thanks

I think they may have been BITE or at least a company that took over part of the business.
I think Rula Khalaf was at KPC with BITE and I heard the company had been taken over. |

You might have made the right call on this particular job, but you will lose other opportunities if you make it a matter of principle only to send your Cv after you have full details.
Firstly plenty of places will want to see what you have to offer before they start thinking of salary, and secondly you are asking a busy recruiter to write two emails instead of one. |

The reason I asked for details was that the advert was very poorly worded and I wasn't sure what they wanted.
I normally tailor my CV according to the job I'm applying for to highlight the most relevant aspects of my experience.
If the advert was clear - I would have submitted my CV as the first step in the application process although I do think that organisations should state the base salary and then state that it's negotiable.
But I agree - I think I might have made the correct call. Her tone was very autocratic. |
