Hi everyone !

I am an Educationist who has recently moved into Sohar , Sultanate of Oman with my Husband. I have done my Masters in Science [M.Sc] and Bachelors in Education [B.Ed] and have about 18 years Teaching and Administrative Experience. I have been teaching American and Canadian University Students in Dubai , U.A.E. since the last 8 years. My main subjects are CHEMISTRY and MATHEMATICS.

I am looking out for a suitable vacancy in Sohar in some Educational University/School/Pvt.Institute and will request members to guide/advise me accordingly.

Thanks and regards.

Hi ushamani,

There is Sohar University and some private schools. You are probably better able to search from there. I expect that Omantel's phone book may be the best place to start.

There is some discussion of Sohar Uni on this board if you look below. It has had a few problems in the past.

You would have many more choices if you were in the capital area. Sohar is rather small.

Good Luck

Educationist? Educator? You mean, a teacher?
As in, a prestidigitatist?

Not to mention the Ministry of Higher Education's Teacher College, but they are usually on the lookout for English teachers since the main language of instruction is Arabic.
