I know Jakarta, but has anyone ever lived and taught in Kalimantan? The work conditions? The everyday politics? Even the environment? Let's share the good, not so good, or indifferent.

BEER 12,000 MILK9,000 FOR THE 2 YEAR LIFE STUFF 15,000-23,000 FOR FRESH BUT ON THE UP SIDE FISH IS CHEAP

So the capital isn't the most expensive....interesting. What are the teaching salaries like from the people that you've met there?

WELL I HEARD OF A SCHOOL THAT PAYS 3MIL....UP TO WELL THERE ARENT MANY LANG. SCHOOLS HERE, MAYBE 7MIL.MOST OF THE JOBS HERE AND COAL & GAS

If there's salaries for 3 juta/month then there has to fun ways to stretch that amount.

Coal and gas....What's the air the like, then? Are you hacking up pieces of your lungs every morning or so?

dear. he means mining companies operate there. not manufacturing and production industry which produces noxious pollutants. Why dont you ask Willy for a job? his school is pretty good he tells me. and you can work with him. he is a good teacher and a hell of a nice guy too.
