Yes yes I know that most ESL jobs in Spain are atprivate language schools, but how about university posts? Do foreign ESL teachers get university jobs, and are the jobs (pay and conditions) any good? What quals are needed? Many thanks for any info or advice. Mark. |

You can apply for a job at a University in Spain if you have the right qualifications which are minimun: 5 year degree in English, some years of research done within the university ( it is called tesis), and proven experience in teaching in some other organizations ( I don't think they accept language schools). With these qualifications your chances would be near "0" because most people applying will have more than that and you would be competing with them.
Being a native speaker at this level does not have any influence. |
