I have been looking into this for the past 2 years. It's a tough one for me too. I should finally depart in July.
So....after I reached the end of the internet---here's what I've come up with. Just my humble opinion.
The pay seems to be quite a bit lower in Thailand. Due to tourism, things are not as cheap as they were in the past. So saving cash will be a bit harder in LOS. Plus visa runs if you don't have a work visa. Good excuse for a few days in Cambodia anyways. But on the bright side, it's Thailand!!!!!
VN seems to have higher pay and no college degree requirements. The police keeping tabs on everyone doesn''t sit well with me, but hey, it's their country.

I am not an expert in this area!! But after all of my research...screw it, I'm going to Cambodia!!!!!!
