hi,
here in france for french students the universities fee is about 300 euros for a year, but about 4 students out of 10 do not have any fee to pay at all, it s simply free. and you can study as many subjects and in as many university as wish.
but i dont know how it is for forgein students (it also may be depends whether european or not)
nothing comparable with the outrageously expensive english or american universities, in france everyone gets a chance to study and so to have access to any job they wish. |

sure, local people get the subsidy and pay little for education (but local people also get taxed highly). But i was talking about those language courses that are for "strangers" (international), these are expensive.
To enroll in one of the inexpensive regular course at university, one must have a certain knowledge level of French. for somebody who hasn't reached that level yet, they need to enroll in one of these "language courses for strangers" provided by the university (like preparatory course) which are gasping expensive! |

Try Quebec city. Almost looks like Europe and should be much cheaper. |
