I am very interested in teaching in India. I am wondering what kinds of qualifications the recruitment agencies, such as Spectrum, are looking for. I am a Canadian teacher with 12 years of experience in the public school system. Is this enough for the call centres? Is it recommended to have a TEFL course on top of my degree and experience? Thanks for the help! |

It's probably enough for a private school.
In India, it's about who the business you're working for is connected to/paying baksheesh to more than the qualifications. Officially a BA, TESOL and two years experience. |
