What are my other options besides teaching english in Barcelona if I don't speak spanish and have no Visa??
I am going to Barcelona in September and I'm a bit nervous that i wont be able to find work.

any ideas... Keep in mind my spanish is very very por...

Construction?
Tourist guide?
Cleaning something?

thanks anyone who helps!

p.s. I wouldn't mind teaching english, but i am afraid it will not pay the monthly rent if i don't get certified. And i can not afford to get certified as a teacher for awhile. And i don't know if its possible to survive off tuturing?

Not such great prospects if you can't spell "tutor"!
In Spain construction and cleaning are taken care of by South American and Eastern European immigrants, with consequently low wages.
You could try being a tour guide but it's slow to build up and can involve a lot of investment of time and money for advertising.
Your best bet is teaching, especially private lessons with kids, but do get a decent dictionary first!

Yes. Tutoring. This is the way. And if you try really hard you can just do conversation classes where you basically just talk for an hour with people who want to improve their fluency. It's fun, easy, and you leave knowing a lot about another person.

I've also known people to babysit in english. Seriously, parents want babysitters and they'd rather have ones who can speak English to their kids so that the kids get English at a young age.
