Dear all,
Does one need to apply for a "carte de sejour" if one just takes a 2 or 3-month long French language course?
I'd like to study French (e.g. in a language school in Toulouse), but I don't want to fly all the way home to apply for the visa. I have checked with the immigration, i don't need an entry visa if i stay in France for less than 3 months.
Say if after 2 (or 3) months of studies, and I will re-apply to the school again for another 2 (or 3) months, do I need to get another carte de sejour? is it likely that my application will be rejected?
please kindly advice, thank you!

Have you looked into going to your embassy there in France or wherever you are and asking for the visa there?
