How does one go about getting birth control (the ring in particular) in Santiago? Is a prescription necessary? |

No you dont need a prescription. Just take what youre currently using into any pharmacy and they will probably have a South American equivalent. |

technically a prescription is necessary for the ring, depo, etc. But some pharmacies will dispense without. The ring they use in Chile is the same as what they sell in the states. Also, if you get a prescription filled in Chile (with a Chilean prescription), they don't take the paper away, so you can get it filled a number of times, if you are so inclined. |
