As the speedometer of life hit 45 I thought cupid would never come near again. Suddenly Linda has come into my empty life bringing a new dawn, a dawn full of the promise of love. But others say to me Whoa Panama, forget it she hates you. But I can't shake the suspicion that beneath the hostility is my soul-mate. I think Linda loves me. But I need the opinions of my peers. What do you think? |

krunch you've got it right; i don't know how it is in china, but when I got here i treated the girls as if they were americans and I got used and abused. now i do as the local men do (dog the women) and i am far better off (and) i save el dinero. as w.c. fields put it never give a sucker an even break. At first i wasted time and money trying to find a decent girlfriend. Then I got a tip from another guy and i tried it. The plan is to have two ads in the local paper one for a maid ($150 a month) and the other for a part-time asst. ($75 a month). I interviewed over 100 girls in a year (they had to be between 18-25) and I hired 15 or 20. none worked for me longer than 2 weeks and I never spent much. Best time i ever had. |

Amigo, she loves you.
But she's probably holding out for that $150 a month job. |

Panama,
Maybe you've just been lookin' for love in all the wrong places . . . but then, what do I know? My own track record is pretty pathetic.
I hope you find what you're looking for. |

I don't think Linda's in love just yet. Maybe a little 'wooing' on your part?? |

Julia--flowers, candy, money--what do you recommend I send her? I don't want to miss this opportunity. |

Flowers die, candy makes you fat and money is like water. Send her a book. |

Linda Linda can't read. Forget the book.
Give her something she can use in her everyday life. |

That book is great! Check out my avatar, for crying out loud!
...but I understand what you're trying to say. Don't mind me. |

This is the third thread (same/similar) topic I have locked. Starting another would probably not be a good idea. |
