Hello, I heading into Peru Early August/03...Flying solo there and would like to secure work but replies are few. Are there any suggestions about finding work or should I not worry as it probably won't be too difficult to find work while I'm there? Thanks for the help...Tina |

Tina,
You should try reposting on the General Latin America board, you might get more responses there.
I would say, don't worry too much. If what you really want to to experience Peru, you should have a great time and will probably be able to find work. Just visit all the language schools personally once you are there. You can check out the phone book, and local newspapers to try to find their addresses. Plus most places that teach Spanish to foreigners also teach English to locals, so you can try those places as well.
I don't know if you've looked around on other web sites? www.tefl.com tends to have a fair amount of Latin American jobs.
Best of Luck, |
