Hi there,
I taught in the Czech Rep,Vietnam,Brazil,Vancouver and Toronto,5 years in all, as well as tutoring and writing essays for uni students at U of Toronto and York U. Also did freelance journalism, feature writing and sub-editing in Hanoi and Prague (and published some magazine cover illustrations there).
I'm looking for somewhere friendlier than vietnam, which i understand japan is (especially the ladies,or so i've heard - true?), but i don't know if i can survive there financially or find work (i don't have a degree)
cheers
mick

Please define what you mean by the word friendly. Then tell us why you think Vietnam is not as friendly as you might like. Japan is NOT among the friendliest places in Asia!!
Or are you really simply talking about women and finding a girlfriend? |

Japan: No degree = No visa in 'Humanities and International Services' (which entitles you to teach foreign languages such as English.
Only way in is on a Working Holiday Visa (if you qualify) or a spouse visa. |
