i am looking for a job somewhere on the west coast of CR, i was thinking maybe tamarindo. Just wondering if anyone has had a job there and could help me out with finding some schools to apply at.

Jessica,
I'm heading to Costa Rica myself in just a few days, and from what I've heard the jobs are all in San Jose, the capital. There are plenty of Spanish language schools on the Pacific coast, but not many (if any) English language schools. Try this link for a list of language schools:

If you have experience and certification try contacting some of the bigger hotel chains. They sometimes run their own ESL program.
