Chris,
I'm headed to Costa Rica myself in August, and from what I've heard and researched it's best to just go and look for a job once you're there. The fall is a good time because classes start around the first of October. Anyway, language schools in Latin America seem to really value the face-to-face interview, so I don't think you'll get very far via email, Internet, etc. You may want to check out Dave's Job Information Journal on Costa Rica for some names of schools, and visit these schools once you're there.

Best of luck!
Melissa

Do not even think about signing a two year contract. First, I would be very surprised if you could get one. If you could the terms would probably be horrendous.

Good luck,

Corey

Call me jaded, but do contracts mean anything in Latin America?

That depends if you are the contractor or the contractee. It also depends how much legal muscle you can afford to back it up.

For most "tourist" teachers this means zilche.
