Great question, Ns. Wildberry (I am assuming female, as I can't imagine a guy --- straight, that is --- chosing such a name... but I digress)

I understand your question. AS A NEWBIE, we are full of wonder and excitement at the prospect of finally gelling love of travel, interest in other people and teaching into one cosmic unit. Because I am not from the EU, I cannot, yet, teach in Europe. However, I am exploring the possibility of getting Irish citizenship based on the fact that my grandmother was born in Ireland. This will open up that door for me, so I am looking there. BUT, in the meantime (it will take a while), I am also considering going to China for a variety of reasons. For one thing, I am a newbie and they are a bit more flexible with lack of in-class experience. I am degreed, certified, and not greedy. China is also willing to pick up the tab to get me there. Quite appealing!! Turkey, on the other hand is where I want to live out my life. Granted, I have been to that country before and fell in love with it, so it might be that I want to go somewhere somewhat familiar. On the other hand, China will be a great place to get experience. On the other hand (how many do I have????), I am also intrigued by the posters here who have said (in other threads) that a person NOT from the EU can still teach in Spain (though illegally).

So, I suppose there are no easy answers, but your question, IS VALID. The old timers are somewhat burned out, and annoyed at times by the newbie enthusiasm, but that's okay. I forgive them and hope you don't take too much offense at the offensiveness thrown at you. Khermit (spelling?) is nice (or so I gather from SOME of his posts) and the others, too.

Just take what ya need and leave the rest....
