Greetings All,
I'm deliberating between Ottawa and Montreal at the moment. If anyone out there has enlightening info to share about either locale (ie. good/bad schools, good neighbourhoods etc.) it would be greatly appreciated.

from talking and looking (i had to make the same choice), it seems that rent is cheaper in montreal.
they also managed to avoid most of the SARS debacle, although several schools have said that this was not as good a summer as they expected. try http://jb-ge.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/Intro_en.asp
this is the job bank; you can search for esl jobs in any city in canada. there are usually a few listed.

Yeah, true enough on the rent situation. I'm of to Montreal. Anyone interested in Ottawa should consider Gatineau or Hull for accommodations. Much cheaper.
