Hi Guys,
Just wondering whether any of you have heard of P.A.R.K School of English in Prague or Brno?I have been offered a job at their school in Prague and they mentioned they had a school in Brno.
Just recently got my CELTA and wanted to hear about the school before I accepted the job.
Also, I don't know very much about Brno,so any tips or info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I was in Brno last summer for my TEFL course and one of the friends I made was a Brit teaching at the PARK school. He claims that it's the best school in Brno and I never heard anything to debunk that.
I lived in Brno for a total of four months and loved every minute of it. It is a lot smaller than Prague but has much of the draws. The best part is that it's not yet overrun by tourists. You will see a few gaggles during the summer months around the major tourist sites, but it's never a problem.
In short, Brno has almost everything that Prague has, minus the hassles. |

Hi Ken.I worked at PARK school in Prague for a year and I reckon they are an excellent school. They take a lot of experienced teachers so be sure and impress them with your demo lesson, and, yeah, you could do a lot worse for yourself than working for them. They've got a massive school in Brno too, which is a nicer, mellower city than Prague in my opinion
Good luck... |
