From what I've seen on TEFL websites, vacancies in Myanmar are few and far between. Try The British Council. |

From my extremely BRIEF experience in Burma many, many (10) years ago, I gathered the impression that like India, many, many people in Burma speak english very, very well -a leftover from British colonialism, perhaps?
Regardless, going to Burma for any reason is a highly contentious proposition. |

i haven't taught in myanmar, but did recieve a job offer from a school there several months ago.
it was called horizons english school...or something similar. they posted an ad on one of the tefl websites. while "googling" english schools in myanmar, i pulled up a couple of different sites. there is also an international school in yangon. |
