I am a US citizensh and also have my EU Passport. I want to begin a EFL teaching career in Italy. I was wondering if one can live off of what you make just teaching in Italy. I would prefer to teach way in the South and I know the pay is not as great as it is in Milan or Florence but I just want to be able to live off of the pay and have a little left over. Any help would be apprecaited.
Thanks,
P |

Hi P,
I've seen it written in these pages that though teh pay may be less in teh south than in the north, people survived just fine. I am not sure what cities they were in. Perhaps someone with more specific info will respond for you.
Good luck.
