Are there any reputable TEFL cert courses available in Brisbane (4 weeks or less) that are cheaper than the CELTA? The CELTA is being offered at about AUS 2500, which seems a bit pricey to me. Any alternatives?

Thanks!

Hiya 7's,

That's how much it cost when I did it 3 years ago, so you're getting a bargain! Laughing

You could try a Google on the similar Trinity course, which used to be offered in Brisbane, but I can't remember the name of the school.

Good luck!
Lozwich.

You're kidding! Wow...I thought maybe it was a recent price hike!

I have been doing loads of research and am finding all of the better quality TEFL programmes to be priced about the same. The only "cheapie" ones seem to be weekend or distance courses, which aren't worth it in my opinion!

Thanks so much, Loz! Very Happy
