I never met anyone who was doing this sort of work independently or hired direct through companies. I actually did it, but I was teaching for the American University in Cairo. They have a department that provides adult education and also works with companies providing lessons for their employees, but the salary for the teachers is paid at a local rate... ie very low.
They do not hire from overseas, but if you are in Cairo, stop in and put in an application.
