My hubby and I are going to Brazil in Feb, but will be in South America for the 7 months before that. No time to get a VISA then. Can we get one in Argentina or Chile or something? It is hard to find the answers to these questions -- sorry if it has been asked before.
Thanks!

Yes, you can get your visas in other south american countries. You will need to allow a couple of days to be on the safe side but somtimes it can be done quicker than this.
Make sure you have the required documentation before leaving.
The cost of visas varies according to your citizenship. Brazil only charges a reciprocal fee for what your country charges its citizens. US, Canada, Australia are three examples. Most countries do not require a visa and are granted a 3 month entry permit on arrival.
You must enter Brazil within 3 months of the visa being granted.
For the addresses of Brazilian consulates and embassies try the links on these pages.
