Hello folks,

I've just accepted a job at this school on a bit of a whim and wondered if anyone had any information on it?? Or on the area in general??
It's in Casale Monferrato, near Alessandria in Piemonte, North-West Italy.

I was offered a job there last September but i turned it down. I went to Genoa instead. It depends what you want from a town and region. It looks like a pretty town but not a party town. Maybe that's what you want. The same for the region really. Gets pretty cold there in Winter and unpleasantly hot in Summer.

well yes i worked for a school nearby that school, the owner back then in 2002 was a brit married to a Italian.

The brit is a teacher trainer of the sandwich method that we had to teach, so did this school and sent us there to get trained very BORING method!!!!
he is a wierdo and shes a nutter i was told by one of their teachers who shared a house with us. They offered her free accom but she said it was old dirty and smelled!!!
maybe it's changed since then but beware they use teachers like slaves and abuse them verbally and more i heard, you'll be working late and long hours.

Try and get another job if you can!
