Hi
Been invited to Singapore by the MOE for an interview for a teaching position at a public school.
The problem is, I can't find any info on their website as to how much they pay. There is info on benefits but not pay. I don't want to travel all the way to Singapore before first knowing how much exactly I'll be paid for the position I applied for.
Anyone? |

There are info of salary&benefit for local in MOE website. I think it's similar but for expat, you'll get personal&housing allowance. Anyway ask them first because turned out that I don't get housing allowance. I had an interview with them last year and it took only 10 minutes, they didn't answer when asked about salary, instead they asked me back how much would I look for..when I told them they laughted at me...(I was thinking they should have done the interview over the phone.) I didn't know the salary until I got the offer letter from the MOE...and it's not what I expected. I think it's ok to ask them before you go..since MOE doesn't pay for the trip. Good luck |
