With the current unease in the region has supply and demand affected the packages on offer from some of the decent schools? Have packages stayed much the same or have they improved?

At present what is the average package that one could expect to receive for an experienced, qualified teacher i.e.

Salary
How many tickets for family
Assistance for children's schooling
Housing
Any other benefits

Many thanks!

Jim

I haven't heard of any expansion of benefits. It will take a long time for change to filter up to managements.

Actually your question is pretty broad and depends much on country and institution. There is so much variance that I hardly know where to begin. Salaries range from around US$2000 to 3500 per month depending on country and institution. Some places offer salary plus all of those, salary plus some of those, salary plus none of those - in all of the countries.

You really need to be more specific to get any kind of useful answer. Smile And I know you are just fishing around at the moment. Have you applied anywhere yet? When are you leaving KSA?

Thanks VS:
I posted this in the general discussion forum because I'm hoping to get some feedback from those of you who are/where in different parts of the Gulf and some info on what the current packages on offer are?
Thanks:wink:
