In California you might try www.castesol.org, especially for college and uni jobs.

Try: http://www.Up4Contract.com

It's national and free to use and sign up. There may not be many jobs available now, but it's worthwhile to join while it's free.
Very Happy

I've had my share of 'working for the man' so to speak, so I was looking for something that would provide non corporate options. I found my current tutoring job through http://www.bilingualcareer.com
Unlike LatPro and bigger sites, bilingualcareer is cheap enough that small businesses can also post jobs. To me that seems important.

Hey guys!!!

The site I use is called POSTMEUP.COM

This site list tons of jobs nationwide in the USA. It also offers provides interview tips and a resource center that will help you with your resume and cover letter. It offers FREE JOB POSTING, FREE JOB SEARCHES, FREE EMPLOYMENT RESOURCES such as a salary calculator. It's so easy to use, there aren't those annoying ads and there is no registration or membership needed. Plus, they are giving away a FREE IPOD!!! It's a new site and it really helped me so I wanted to share it with all of you. Good luck job hunting!

Gosh, I was just trying to help out everyone on this site. Those who are looking for jobs and those who are looking for employees. I found my tutoring job from postmeup.com from google. The IPOD sounds legit too, so I thought I would share.

I notice 'postmeup.com' is more of ageneral employment site, not necessarily focusing on teaching jobs. Maybe better if you want to get out of teaching!

I cannot say anything about other American cities, but in Washington, DC:

washingtondc.craigslist.org

As far as in my family I am responsible for finding jobs for both my husband and ISmile)) I would say that this web site provided us with 2 positions of professional level, a few freelance opportunities, a few non-professional level jobs but better than other options, a free summer camp for my child (great camp!!!), and a few small other good pieces of information. When I recommended it as a sourse of finding an apartment to rent, my friends rented apartments from this source. However, I have no experience with any of my friends who got married there:))) At least, by now:))) People from media hate it, because millions of $ are lost by newspapers in advertising in Washington, DC area. If I needed a new husband, I would try this source too:)))))
