I have been just offered job for teaching in Lao..Salary of US $800 sounds good or bad. Presently I am in China and save around US$ 500.Salary is kind of same but in Lao I would be working more hours and more responsibilities.I would be looking forward to save money from that.
What would be the cost of living ?
Going by taxis.
Eating out.
Snacks
Internet probably utilities.
Not partying much maybe just going out sometimes.
Any other expenses if you can think.
What about the culture,language,etc ? |

Yes
What kind of school is it? How many teaching hours?
It is an international Schools. Around 22-25 hours but it's not only teaching English.It's related to specialized courses.
Other than that I was also wondering are there many jobs ? |

| I am still not sure whether it would be really good idea to be in Laos or not as it does sound to be small place with not many opportunities.Anyways I am going to do some more research on it.Thanks Sigmoid for all the info. |
