To my knowledge all the languge schools in Casa were prepared to emply Moroccan English Teachers, I don't know about ALC or Amid East, but Bpec, EF, British Institute did, and I think the BC now does. |

I heard the BC in Casa will close in 2009. Is that true? |

btw, the Moroccans who work at the ALCs all have at least Master's degrees if not PhDs. |

Scotch-Irish is the most commonly used term for the descendants of Scots who migrated to North America, but lately Scots-Irish has begun to gain currency among those who know that Scotch is considered offensive in Scotland. |
Not that it matters a great deal but if you go far enough back, you'll find the earliest settlers on the emerald isle to have been settlers from Scotland (geographically); so technically it should be the other way around, in the form of 'Irish-Scottish'.
Apart from that, Morocco is a great place. I wouldn't have the foggiest idea what the ins and outs of teaching there were but it's certainly a great place full of interesting people. |

Oops sorry for late response, but I've moved on from Morocco. The latest I heard from a reliable and very senior management source at BC HQ in London just today is that this place is continuing to lose the best part of 100000 UK pounds a year due to its out of town location, and unless the situation improves during 2008, this school will be amalgamated with the centre in Rabat. ` |

oops, I can't write such stuff without substantiation.
I have to eat humble pie and say the BC Casa is doing very well at the mo. The new Director has worked wonders. Well done. |

I can safely say that BC,Casa does employ NON NATIVE SPEAKERS of English. They need people who hold CELTA+2 years verifiable experience+a first degree in any stream.
The salary is good plus they offer accommodation money with some other allowances. Also, there is a GBP component APART from your usual salary. |
