Anyone know a good area or market with used bikes, in Lima? Like, cheap old beat up bikes?

Also if anyone has experience biking in the general direction of el centro towards san isidro or miraflores, or vice versa, howd you do it? From what I can tell Arequipa would be pretty much impossible, any secret conveniant roads?

thanks

Try las Malvinas. They seem to have lots of things, or also Gamarra.

Sounds dangerous. Like maybe getting from one place to another with a bike in the same district, but district to district travel is dangerous. You could get hit by a car.

Acutally Arequipa is pretty safe since they have a path for walking / riding bikes in the middle of the road.
