Hi Friends-

I just found a listing for professorships in the soon-to-be-created Academy for the Performing Arts in the newly-created University of Trinidad and Tobago. I've checked out the Ministry of Education web-site and several local and area news sources and it all seems to be on the up and up, fully-funded and with great intentions. Sounds like an interesting proposition.

Anyone here have any experiences with Trinidad and Tobago? Sounds like a nice place...

Duh! Let me be the first to jump on myself. After spending a lot of time on the LA, Eastern European and Asian Forums, this was my very first trip to the Caribbean. Literally ten seconds after sending my first note along I saw the thread answering all my questions about T & T just a few lines below. Duh!!! I'll read further now to see if anyone has had specific experience with the University of Trinidad and Tobago before I open my mouth again. Dumb way to introduce myself to this Forum. Sorry!
