They are up to try to be accepted in the EU in 2007? Do you think they will make it?

I live in Bulgaria but earn my money elsewhere.
It is difficult to see at this stage how BG will ever be integrated into the EU. The Common Agricultural Policy must be modified if it is cope with the thousands of small peasant farmers in BG.

And my concern is how will salaries be upgraded to European levels. Just two examples here. A teacher in an Elementary School gets at the moment about 200BGL monthly. A clerk in a travel agent in Sofia 330BGL.
Many Pensioners get 80BGL monthly or less. (2BGL equal 1 Euro, approximately)

When the price of food reaches the levels of the EU, will these people be able to eat ?

Some people familiar with Spain or Greece have told me that these countries made the transition, but I am not convinced.

My main question : who will be the winners and who will be the losers ?

I know Spain has made the transition, ok. I lived there for a bit. But unemployment is super high and it usua takes college graduates at least six months to find a job. And prices went up when the Euro came along
