Sure have. The serve-yourself buffet on the top floor of the international airport. About the best I ever found in that fine city. Plus it has the added bonus of having the departure gates just a floor or two below.
Enjoy. |

I went to the one by that Roman arch thing. Most of the things on the menu were unavailable but the 'mutton bone soup' was a winner-despite the fact it was meant to be stew.
Try the 5 star hotel for anything edible. |

Yeah, I've been to the Roman arch place (Athurs). Not that good for the price frankly. The 5-Star hotel (Corinthia) has a smashing buffet for the price.
Any more? |

ntropy, how is libya? I have also been thinking of working there. i am a primary teacher but would like to teach English. So far, I haven't had much luck with a job. Think I really need to get a CELTA certificate. Any advice? |

I think you've given yourself the best advice already. Need some sort of certificate. Teaching primary and ESL are two different cats and you need something to show employers you can do it.
Libya is very pleasant and nice. I recommend it as a place of employment. |
