Ok, here's another one for you kids...
BE VERY WARY OF ANY PAYMENT BY CHEQUE FOR TEACHING !!!
There has been some idiot operating a well-known scam on TEFL teachers in Spain where somebody "accidentally" sends you too much money by cashier's cheque for classes. Then they ask for you to refund the difference (for example, they send you a cheque for 2000� instead of the 300� you arranged for classes: they then ask you to send the 1700� by Western Union and the cheque is worthless and you are liable for the costs!)
Conclusion: never send anybody any money for any reason EVER !!!
...if it sounds too good, that's because it IS too good: let's all be very careful out there...
