Hi,

From time to time I get offered contracts which I don't have time to accept. If you are living in Bucharest and wouldn't mind being contacted if a teaching contract comes up and want to earn a little extra money, PM me with your details/CV.

Most contracts are for in-house training at large Romanian or international companies. Hours and levels vary. May be groups or individuals. Pay respectable for Romania. Hourly rates. CELTA-qualified (or eqiv.) professional looking/acting native-speakers with experience, preferably in teaching Business English.

Let me know if you're interested.

Mike

I'm still turning down teaching opportunities from time to time so if anyone has arrived in Romania in the last couple of years as is looking for a few privates to top up their income, drop me a line.

Nice offer though to those considering Bucharest.

I can't believe it's two years since I posted that, seems like only a few months ago...

Once you get a good rep here there are loads of opportunities. I've had at least seven requests for lessons this week. I'll take on some of them but my schedule's pretty much full now with about 150 contact hours per month. Just seems to waste the offers.

You're teachign 150 hours a week? I've got to start doing privates. How did you start getting students? Any advertising tips?

Per month! I'm not insane! Laughing

I have never advertised, all of my students come from word-of-mouth recommendations.

Whoops, I meant per month, still that's about 40 hours a week, which is a lot.

Actually it probably works out about 120 on average, if you take into account the holiday periods, cancelled lessons, and so on.
