Thanks for the the closure on this post.
I had a similar experience when I went to teach in Sao Paulo years ago. I had a great time, no doubt about it, but all the same problems (lack of a visa, hours were sporadic all over the place and had to commute the majority of my day getting to them to teach for a short period of time, etc.)
All in all, I ended up back in Asia again, and teaching-wise, it was the better place to be. |

No doubt about it. Asia is a great place. Cushy jobs, great students. Wish I could go back. |
