I'm in the final stages of applying for job in Romania which offers around $40,000 per year, flights, flat and utilities paid.
Am I right to assume that this is a very comfortable amount for Romania?
Also, I spent 5 years in Russia. Does anyone know how the lifestyles between Moscow/St.Petersburg and Bucharest compare?
All replies are most welcome/ |

That is a huge income for Romania, and I wonder who is paying money like that.
You say though "in the final stages of APPLYING for a job".

I've expressed interest in the post, but will probably be applying in September. The job is part of the British Council's Peacekeeping English Project. I asked about the salary, because I thought it was a huge amount and thought that Romania might be uncharacteristically expensive for Eastern Europe.
Anyway, thanks for all the info. and cross your fingers for me in the future. |
