I've researched this as far as the internet will take me, so perhaps you could give us an update about the real cost of living in Kiev. How far would $1000/month plus accomodation get me? Are food prices soaring? Can anyone compare the cost of living in Kiev with major Polish cities? (That gives me a better frame of reference). Assuming I'm usually taking public transit, cooking at home typically but certainly not always, going out a few times a week to cool-but-not-super-expensive places, and just generally spending my money wisely but not miserly, how would I stand with this salary?
Thanks in advance |

I wouldn't take less than $1500 minimum, guaranteed. You can rent a room for $250 to 300 and live cheap so figure from that determining YOUR minimum. Transportation and beer is cheap, food has gone up lately. Go to www.expatua.com for living advice and discussion on Kyiv. |
