Still hoping to teach in Germany. Have looked at a number of International Schools as an option as I do not have any Tefl etc certification- am an English teacher in a successful English school. I'm half German and have a decent, but not fluent, grasp of spoken German and I also hold dual German/British nationality.
After all that my question: Are there any agencies or means of getting your C.V 'out there' to International Schools or is it simply a matter of applying to each one individually myself?
Thanks in advance. |

Just apply to the schools where you plan to live... You really shouldn't have a hard time finding a job and in my experience, it doesn't matter if you have a TEFL or not.

That's positive. You were quick to reply when I posted a while back-thanks for taking the time.

You're welcome! I just started to look for more work because it is currently the summer holidays here in Germany and work is pretty scarce. I sent out a few mails to the schools around me and within 2 days got a bunch of responses and already had an interview. They really are always looking for people |
