What do you think of this job offer? Is it decent? Have you heard of the company?

While I've never heard of them, they describe themselves as many, many other smaller English training outfits do. Same types of hours, same pay, same types of students as schools or tutoring groups right across Latin America. |

$6 an hr? Honduras? Maybe I'd rather shovel coal.
I do agree with Guy Courchesne. There's nothing new about this ad. It's very typical of this region. Many of these places are here today and gone tomorrow.
Absolutely nothing special here...for me, anyway. |

$6 per hour in San Pedro may be the going rate for outfits like this, maybe a little better (assuming you actually get paid that much). San Pedro has little to recommend it in terms of weather, culture, safety, etc., but it has its moments. If you could get that salary elsewhere, say Santa Rosa, or Choluteca, or Trujillo, that would be different. Honduras is a very poor ocuntry, even by Central American standards. If a teaching job is great in Honduras, you have little or no chance at it unless you are in Honduras, and have experience in Honduras. |
