I was wondering if anyone knew the places that have an abundance of language schools and therefore jobs outside of the following...

London
Oxford
Cambridge
Bath
Edinburgh

I have heard Bournemouth, Salisbury, Bristol, Exeter have a few? Can anyone shed some more light on these or any other places not mentioned?

Hi Workingnomad,

I suggest you try towns where there are either universities/colleges or are popular with summer schools, such as:

Brighton
Cardiff (Wales)
Leicester
Leeds
Manchester
Nottingham
Newcastle-on-Tyne
Reading (Berkshire)
York

Most of these places advertise regularly on tefl.com

Good luck!

Why would you not want to go to Bath? One of the best cities in the world!

I've lived in Bristol most of my life and have never seen any language schools advertised. I think there are some ESL classes at the main college, but that's about it.

Oh yes, and as another poster has said, Manchester is pretty decent.
