I am a Canadian citizen currently living in the UK - I have an undergrad diploma in graphic design production, and I have my CELTA + 3 years teaching experience. I am interested in getting my PGCE (design technology) but I am VERY confused about how to apply for it - ie - GTTR, QTS and I have to get my Canadian transcripts translated for them...
Any help please |

Hi,
I think it depends on the university you are going to attend. Strathclyde Uni in Glasgow require Canadians to apply through TEACH (http://www.teach.ca/) although if you are already in the UK it may be ok to use GTTR, you're best contacting the Education department of the university you want to attend. I'm a US Citizen and applied through GTTR but I also have resident status.
As for getting you transcripts translated, are they not in English? Or maybe you just mean compare your qualifications, if so go to www.naric.org.uk .
Good luck!
