Hello everyone. I have the opportunity to teach at an English summer camp in Northern Italy for a short time in June. Then, Ill travel to the UK for a lengthier contract. My goal is to eventually residentially re-locate and teach in Northern Italy. I have Italian citizenship, codice fiscale and TESL/TEFL certificates. I am interested in obtaining information about individual teaching experiences with language schools in North-eastern Italy. I realize that the information might be sensitive so if anyone is uncomfortable with a public posting, Im hoping that you would PM me. Im relatively new to the forum and have insufficient post for PM privileges; 25 are required. I would particular like to hear from SueH because of your location and your previous posts. You seem to have a great deal of knowledge and advice you could impart. Many thanks, |

Hi!
Not sure I can help particularly as I don't work in a language school. I only do a bit of work for local state schools as I have other income (i.e. I'm semi-retired..). I could do with a few more hours as the is down so much against the Euro, but having started with state schools this year I've hopes for more next. If you've got any more specific questions let me know. Must dash as I have a teachers' meeting to go to. Not too bad as I get paid for it! |

Thanks for the response Sue. Im wondering if you would e-mail me at summithunt@........., as I then can fully explain my situation. Still waiting to hear from anyone with experience in this area.

I understand the thought behind this but this is a public forum which, ostensibly, exists to share information and educate. As such PMs don't really help the cause too much. |
