Could you please advise if the following is correct (from a friend who works at CNA-Q) - that the CAEL is not exactly the same as that applied in Canada in that all 4 skills (reading, writing, speaking & listening) are all weighted the same rather than more emphasis on the reading and writing as is done with an "official" CAEL?
It may be that this is only done for entry level rather than exit level purposes? At least that's the impression I got from our one conversation on the topic. So are the CAEL results "real" or inflated as a result of the equal weighting? |

The Gulag boys who've been sent out there usually show improvement. So it can't be all that bad. I met a trauma man who'd taken courses there and his English was wonderful. He praised CNAQ. So they must be doing some things right. But we yanks do get all the cushy projects here. What can I say? They love us here. |
