Certified teacher, experience, teaching English, etc...

I tried ibo.org, but it doesn't seem to have many jobs available. I'm new at trying to find jobs. Any advice?

Thanks.

The economy's hard-hit and there just arent' that many jobs out there - that is probably why you're not finding much.

I teach just over the border in the Netherlands, and we have several partner universities in Germany. There are lots of unemployed, qualified teachers out there seeking jobs right now - it's just a tight market.

Not that you might not find something, but I doubt it will be easy this year.

I think you need to mention that the amount of money most teachers in Germany make is barely enough to break even and that non-EU people (and most non Germans) are forced to work Freiberuflich. That makes working there even more useless after taxes. I"ve known people who actually went into debt "working" in Germany.

Yes this is true.
It is extremely difficult to find a english teaching/training position in Germany at the moment unless you're really qualified or lucky.
