And by teaching, I mean teaching teaching. School teaching, not ESL.
Any hoops a New Zealand teaching graduate needs to go through to be able to teach in Australia?
I don't mean visas, as we are classed permanent residents there, but to be legally allowed to teach in public schools in Australia. |

The 'Working in Australia: Qualifications" sticky thread pretty much sums it all up. I'd suggest ya have a read through that, then if y'have further questions, fire away. |

Is it all the same for regular school teaching, not ESOL? |

Do you mean the same for primary to secondary? from state to state?
Did you find the 'sticky' helpful at all?
When I went to Queensland from NZ the steps were;
Apply for 'Blue card'
Have teaching qualification assessed
Apply for teacher registration
Apply for jobs - never got this far as I went overseas far far away |
