I've met a couple of teachers from this place. Some are just as weird as the Gulag weirdos. |

Most of the people I've met from this place are very stressed and overburdened. Too many regulations they say. There seems to be a high turnover every year. |

Have things improved now in 2009? How about other faculties at CNA-Q? Are they all run the same as the EFL department?
Could some or most of the complaints arise from the fact that these people were not prepared for the stark differences of life in Qatar compared to what they're used to?
Living in a different country, be it Switzerland or Qatar, is difficult, life in the middle may especially be difficult if you're not prepared for the life style, class-based society, how to handle alone time, bureaucracy, slooowww life, etc.
Thanks. |
