Having lived in Chia Yi (1.5 Years) Taipei County (1.5 Years) and Lukang (1 Year). I can say that I have never been happier than I am now. My house rocks, I go downstairs and there's a subway stop right there. A McDonalds and a Movie theater as well. Jason, you make all these sweeping statements about Taiwan, without backing up your points. Maybe you should join www.forumosa.com.

Really, Jason, you never lived anywhere but Fengyuan (and then only very briefly). If you had lived in Fengyuan and Taipei, your anti-Tapei rants could be taken half-way seriously. You have no basis for the comparisons you make. You simply lack the experience necessary to make them. How the heck do you know what life is like there? I'd ask you to post only on what you know, but then I'd only be begging the question of why you continue to post here.

Really, Stevie, you never lived in Fengyuang. If you had lived there, your anti-"rural Taiwan" rants could be taken half-way seriously. You have no basis for the comparisons you make. You simply lack the experience necessary to make them. How the heck do you know what life is like in Fengyuang? I'd ask you to post only on what you know, but then I'd only be beggin the question of why you continue to post here.

Echoing the posts of others - how childish! Even for you Jason.
