|
|
I've just started teaching in Italy and am trying to work out how to get internet at my new apartment.
I've heard that having a home broadband involves italian governmental taxes. In any case I don't want to have a contract that will bind me for more than nine months. Someone reccomended a mobile internet key but I can only find contracts for these too (24 months...) Can anyone recommend a pay as you go service or some other option like a shorter contract perhaps?
Many thanks,

Dunno about taxes, but it is a bit expensive. think you can get 12 month contracts (I think mine with Fastweb was). Try a web search and I'll keep my eye open: actually I'll go to the phone shop as I need to persuade someone there to start classes! |

In my experience neither Fastweb nor Alice binds you to a minimum period the way that the internet "chiavette" do. Fastweb costs about 40 euros a month, Alice (which is run by Telecom) somewhat less. |
